How do I find out what accessory is causing access not supported on my iPad.

How do I fix accessory not supported on my iPad? The only accessories I think are connected are the apple pensive and a charger.

It would be whatever is plugged into the charging port. The other possibility is that something else is wrong and the iPad is just giving a misleading error message.

I would try a different cable. Also, try cleaning out the charging port. Under a bright light, with a magnifier, if you have one, use a non-conductive tool like a toothpick and remove any lint or other crud that may have gotten stuck in the port.
