(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

My 4-month old iPhone 14 Plus is doing the same thing plus it's overheating multiple times a day. I took it to an authorized Apple repair center and had diagnostics run on it. The back mid-unit is malfunctioning. Trying to get this replaced as I'm worn out with this issue that started a few days after the 16.3.1 update. The phone is not damaged and that was confirmed by the authorized Apple repair technician at Best Buy. Why does Apple Support make it so difficult to get the phone replaced? This is ridiculous considering the price and the age of the phone! Apple, look at all these issues on the iPhone 14 Plus in the Apple Community!
