how to transfer all songs from ipod to a usb thumb drive
I want to transfer music from itunes or ipod mini to a thumb drive for music in vehicle. How do I do that?

From a computer, you can just drag the actual files from iTunes's media folder to the USB drive.
To find where the music files are, right click / control + click on a track and then click on show in Finder / Windows Explorer.
It cannot be done from an iPod directly however.
