Why does “FIND MY” keep sending notifications that I have just arrived repeatedly

I have FIND MY set up so that I will know when my daughter arrives at and leaves home. There must be some sort of glitch. It will alert me when she arrives or leaves as requested for alerting me every time. That is all fine and well, but the problem is that it keeps sending that alert over and over. For example, she got home at 8:30 PM and I was alerted properly. However, it continually sends them at more random times, although she has not left home again. It will timestamp it as the time it pings each additional time it alerts me for the very same arrival notification. It sucks because it goes off at wee hours of the morning. If I cancel it, then I can no longer track when she leaves or arrives at home. How do I fix this? I have tried everything. It also happens on my daughters phone too.

We just need the one and only alert as expected.
