No notifications on iMessage and text

I get every other apps alert sound except for iMessage and text, I have tried everything with no luck. How would I fix this? I have watched videos, asked questions and read everything, nobody has an answer. Thanks

How can I fix missing iMessage notification sounds on iPhone? I have been using 2 different phones. I fixed it, weird though, only had two people muted in my iMessage and it muted all of my contact for some reason
