Stuck on uploading remaining songs and artwork

I've been trying to upload all of my iTunes library to the cloud for listening on my new Apple Music subscription, but it seems to have gotten stuck after uploading ~6,000 of my 18,000 song library. I've tried restarting iTunes, logging out of Apple Music, turning off the sync iCloud Music Library and back on again...nothing. No progress bar telling me how many songs have been uploaded or anything. Has anyone else found a way to successfully deal with this issue? Part of the reason I switched to Apple Music in the first place was to access my local PC's music library from my phone.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

File > Library > Update Cloud Music Library should resume the process if it doesn't restart automatically. There should be an activity icon while tracks are being matched or uploaded. Try the advice in If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support.
