Regarding iMessage and FaceTime activation

Why iMessage And FaceTime doesn’t support on airtel sim

only apple id is visible for it

i want to add my registered phone number in it

how can we make it possible

Phone Number Cannot be used by iMessage and FaceTime I am using a esim of jio from two years now i have purchased a new physical sim of airtel and installed it in my iphone. But i am not able to activate iMessage and face time on new number. And in apple id i had added that number but there also a note is showing saying that this phone number cannot be used by iMessage and Facetime. Phone Number Cannot Be Used by iMessage and FaceTime You must have a SIM associated with an Apple device I went overseas and switched my SIM card out for one that would work in the UK. Once I got back home I put my local provider's SIM card back into my phone. I can make calls and send messages but imessage and facetime doesn't work. Hey VarshuL,

After having a look at Airtel’s site, apparently you need to activate this feature. Here are the steps to do so we found on Airtel’s site: How to Activate SMS Services for Airtel Sim Card?

If Messages and FaceTime still won’t activate, please contact Airtel for help: Airtel Customer Care Number - Contact Us @121
