CompleValue Folder being installed without permission.

I keep getting this folder loaded on my computer when Im using Safari and usually when Im on YouTube. This time it fully crashed Safari. Normally it causes it to freeze up. I have found files on my computer that seem like they don't belong and are from this folder and app that is inside. I can't find a thing on the web about this. Contents of some of the files indicate it is from apple but I don't believe it to be true. I can send a copy of the folder to anyone who needs it so they can dig though it. Im afraid it is loading other programs on my laptop in an attempt to gain access to my information but so far all my information is safe like my bank and other accounts. I keep close tabs on everything. I have even had my passwords changed but it still gets installed. Even with my VPN running or not. If you notice the name of the folder is not CompleteValue but CompleValue. A play on words and that indicated foul play.

Any chance you have heard about this? I have had other folders installed in a similar manner but trashed them. I'll for sure report this next time it happens for all the different ones that show up and all show up only when using Safari. Not when I use Chrome or Brave. I prefer to use Safari.,

I use the first gen MacBook Pro M1 with the most current system software. Ive been considering doing a clean install and just put back in my most used programs. Ive been trying to clean out what I don't use. I'd need help with that too.

Your VPN isn't necessarily going to do anything. I always thought this was Malware best treated wth MalwareBytes or DetectX Swift. Can't hurt to try either,

Do your Part: Report this to Apple. These are just user-to-user forums. Apple barely reads the forms as it is on their own time. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback Apple receives on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in upcoming updates.

I will mention that Apple sent me a security update within an hour and I received another one for my phone the next day. I hope you install all security updates. I was floored at how fast I received a security update and since then I have had no more issues with these folders being loaded on my computer. The VPN is not going to help and I would not depend upon your virus programs either.

Apple, is anything being done about this?
