can I deauthorize all devices?

One the years I've had iPods or iPads or MacBooks that are either lost, broken or replaced. No iTunes or Apple Music is telling me I have too many authorized devices. Can I just deauthorize all and start over?

Only computers are authorized devices. See the instructions titled "If you need to deauthorize a computer that you don't have access to" in either the PC or Mac section of Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support

The give directions on how to "Deauthorize All" and then authorize any computers you still have and want to use.


The following has information about authorized vs associated. The associated devices don't affect your authorized device limit. Authorization vs. association - Apple Community
