iPhone keeps beeping

My iPhone keeps randomly playing some sort of bleeping sound and then coming up with “Connected to MacBook Pro - you can disconnect to remove this iPhone from the Mac microphone list” but when I click disconnect it still keeps happening then most of the time it disappears too quickly for me to even do that. Any idea how to stop it?

We'd like to learn more about what's happening, along with ruling out some other possible causes:

When did these two issues start to occur on your iPhone, and does anything show up on your Mac regarding this?
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.4.1(a). You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
