Apple Support has an article online:

Automatically fill in strong passwords on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Prevent iPhone from automatically filling in passwords

Go to Settings  > Passwords > Password Options, then turn off AutoFill Passwords"

So if autofilling the passwords is turned off, you may just need to turn it back on.
