So I was just upgrading my iPhone 4s, I got on the slide to upgrade screen, and then everything was working. But then when it was on the progress bar step, then it just got to certain point, and then flashed the Lock Screen, then just restarted the progress bar. I need help with this iphone, I was just about to transfer a few files to my new iphone

It’s entirely likely that there is nothing left on the phone to transfer. If it failed while updating it, any data is gone.

There still is data, I checked the iPhone through some third-party software and checked the files. There is still a bunch of things that I saved on it
Then ask whoever you got the third party software from.
Not much we can do other than advise you to put it into recovery mode and restore.
