why do I have to pay 5.99 for apple id, I did not request this, I did not give you permission to take money out of my chime account! Why do I have to have apple id?

There is no charge for an AppleID and you MUST have an AppleID.
Perhaps you registered for another subscription service. (e.g. iCloud+, AppleTV+, etc.)
