Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. You can find apps from your Apple Watch or from your paired iPhone. To ensure the app is compatible with Apple Watch, it may be best to find use the following Apple Watch steps from Download apps on your Apple Watch - Apple Support.
"Get apps from the App Store on your Apple Watch
- Press the Digital Crown to see the Home screen, then tap the App Store.
- Tap Search to find apps using Scribble or Dictation or scroll down to discover featured apps and curated app collections.
- Tap an app to see its description, ratings and reviews, screenshots, release notes, and more.
- Tap the price or tap Get.
- When prompted, double-click the side button under the Digital Crown to download and install the app."
If you're looking at apps on your iPhone, check the compatibility section to make sure Apple Watch is listed.
