Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

• If you have an iPhone 5S or 6/6plus, the highest you can update to is 12.5.7

• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, or SE 1st generation, you can update to 15.8.3

• If you have an iPhone 8 or X, you can update to 16.7.10

• If you have an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), or XR through 15, you can update to 17.7 or 18.0.1

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

because of that I unable to use my google pay and /PhonePe/pls another app already enable help me to support other wise my iphone7 going to waste . Pls take action send me ios17

iPhone 7 is incapable of being updated to iOS 17 at all. It doesn't have the hardware required. If you need iOS 17 for apps, which require iOS 17, then you'll have to retire you out of date iPhone and buy one which is newer and capable of running iOS 17. That means at a minimum iPhone SE 2, iPhone XS or newer.

Is your iPhone on any of these lists?

iPhone models compatible with iOS 18 - Apple Support

iPhone models compatible with iOS 17 - Apple Support

iPhone models compatible with iOS 16 - Apple Support

If your iPhone is an iPhone 7, 7 Plus, SE (1st generation), or earlier, it is not compatible with iOS 16, 17, or 18. If the phone is recent enough to be compatible with one or more of these operating systems, it will offer the highest one that it can run. (You might not be offered the option to update to intermediate versions.)

If it is not on these lists, that means that you have an older iPhone that is not compatible with iOS 17 or later, and that will never offer you an update to iOS 17 or later. The answer to "How" is "You cannot."

If it is on either, see

Note that if your phone is compatible with iOS 18, it might offer you an update only to iOS 18.
