Apple Music Radio Doesn't Show Any Radio Shows or Episodes or Stations

I am a subscriber to Apple Music; however, about ~4 weeks ago, its Radio stopped showing any shows, episodes, or stations.

Getting support from Apple has been a nightmare. My tickets have been passed around with no resolution.

To make matters worse, just yesterday, a senior advisor picked up the ticket and kept saying that she is from the US/Canada support team and wouldn't be able to help, as she won't be able to call back. I'm amazed at the level of support.

I have tried logging into Apple Music on the web using different browsers and computers, but the issue persists.

The Radio only works if it's opened from Apple Music on my iPhone.

I am currently using the latest macOS.

If anyone has had a similar experience, please share your ideas on how to resolve this.

Thank you.

  1. Check Internet Connection:
  2. Make sure your Mac mini is connected to the internet and that your connection is stable. Radio streaming requires a reliable internet connection.
  3. Update macOS:
  4. Ensure that your Mac mini is running the latest version of macOS. Updates can include bug fixes and improvements that might address issues with Apple Music.
  5. Sign Out and Sign In to Apple Music:
  6. Sign out of your Apple Music account on your Mac mini and then sign back in. To do this, open the Music app, go to "Music" in the menu bar, select "Sign Out," and then sign back in with your Apple ID.
  7. Restart the Music App:
  8. Quit the Music app and then reopen it. Sometimes, a simple app restart can resolve minor glitches.
  9. Clear Cache:
  10. Clearing the cache of the Music app might help. Quit the Music app, go to the Finder, press 'Command + Shift + G', and enter '~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Music' in the dialog box. Delete the contents of the "com.apple.Music" folder, then relaunch the Music app.
  11. Reset Apple Music Library:
  12. If the issue is related to your Apple Music library, you can reset it. Open the Music app, go to "Music" in the menu bar, select "Preferences," and then click the "Files" tab. Click the "Reset" button next to "Apple Music Library."
  13. Check Restrictions:
  14. Make sure there are no restrictions set on your Mac mini that might be preventing access to Apple Music Radio. Go to "Apple menu" > "System Preferences" > "Screen Time" > "Content & Privacy" > "Music" and check if there are any restrictions in place.
  15. Contact Apple Support:
  16. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's a good idea to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They can provide more specific guidance and troubleshoot the problem with you.
  17. Alternative Music App:
  18. Consider using an alternative music app to see if the issue is specific to the Apple Music app. You can try streaming radio stations through a web browser or using another music streaming service.
