I can't find my phone how can I add it to find my iPhone on Macbook

In order to enable Find My on the phone......you must have the phone in your hands.
It is not possible to enable Find My on the phone remotely, or if the phone is lost.
Bottom line.....Find My must be enabled on the phone......before....it is lost.
You cannot add your iPhone to Find My after you have lost it. You must enable the Find My feature on the iPhone before it is lost.
