Can’t sign in to iMessageSE with number

the activation icon is spinning but doesn’t activate and it’s been more than 24 hrs. My iPhone is a SE, series 5.

iMessage iMessage hasn’t been working, says “waiting for activation” for about 3 days, I have turned off and on my phone, toggled off the iMessage, phone is up to date on it’s update. Not sure what else to do and why it isn’t working.

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
