How to turn off 'customise lock screen' on my iPhone 12?

Practically every time I pick up my iphone 12 it triggers the option to customise the lock screen. Is there a way to turn this off, please?

I found some advice in reply to a previous question re this that was suggesting altering my accessibility options, but I haven't found a way to do this that affects the above.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Sue036,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To view the options to change the wallpaper on your iPhone from the Lock Screen you would do as noted below:

Change the wallpaper on your iPhone

On the Lock Screen, touch and hold your Lock Screen to open your wallpaper gallery.

The Accessibility setting that adjust touch-and-hold gestures are located in the following article that may help:

Adjust how iPhone responds to your touch

1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Touch, then tap Haptic Touch or 3D & Haptic Touch.
2. Choose the touch duration—Fast or Slow.
3. On an iPhone with 3D Touch, you can also choose the pressure needed—Light, Medium, or Firm.
4. Test your new settings on the image at the bottom of the screen.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
