Ford Sync 3 doesn't download contacts from iphone 15 pro

I just bought a 2023 Ford Puma with Ford Sync 3 media. I use a Fold 5 and from the first connection everything was ok, download the contacs, SMS, recent calls, ok. I changed the phone to a new Iphone 15 Pro last week and the phone connects to Sync 3, but the contacts can't be downloaded (and recent calls also). I checked the "download contacts" first time but is not working. If someone calls me I can answer.

It says "maybe the phone must grant acces to contacts" or something like that but I can't figure out where.

In the Bluetooth connections beside Puma I don't have the "contacts" button. In the setting/privacy/bluettoh also the puma is not shown.

I tryed to delete the connection from iphone and car severel times but didn't work. The same situations.

If you can help me it will be gerat.

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. You've done some great troubleshooting by removing your iPhone connection to your Ford Puma. We's also suggest that you try restarting your iPhone as well as renaming it and then connect again to see if the issue persists as this may help to address the issue you're facing: Change the name of your iPhone - Apple Support

Change the name of your iPhone

You can change the name of your iPhone, which is used by iCloud, AirDrop, your Personal Hotspot, and your computer.

1. Go to Settings > General > About > Name.

2. Tap , enter a new name, then tap Done.

If the issue persists, we'd suggest that you check with the car manufacturer to see if there is a firmware update available for your car stereo.

thank YOU for your support.

I already did that (change the phones name and restart it) but didn’t work.

I find a solutions and write it down maybe will help someone else.

In the settings, iCloud, apps, I unchecked the contacts (mine was already selected) and then checked again.

After that I reconect the phone to the sync 3. The pop-up screen show again that require iPhone contacts acces but now I can find in the settings/bluetooth the options to select what contacts I want to sync.

This was the solution for me.
