cannot verify card for apple pay capital one

I cannot verify my new Debit card in the capital one app - have spoken to Apple _ they even logged in my phone - I have spoke to capital one - I cannot verify my new Debit card in the capital one app - the screen flashes on and off before I can input expiration date - I have uninstalled cap one app, updated phone , updated Cap one app - ( I have iphone 14 pro ) I didnt have this problem with previous capital one debit card. someone help me around this

It allows me to add my card but when I go to verify thru capital one app it flashes on ale off before I can put in the expiration date - iOS 17.4.1 all my apps are updated - iPhone 14 Pro - I’ve tried the WiFi to cellular route - bank cannot help me I called them already - last time I used a 5 digit text code to verify new debit card but don’t remember it now and can’t find it. I tried removing card then adding - tried logging out of Apple ID end logging in - I’m the only one on bank account

Any solution to this I’m having the same problem- last time this happened with capital one I somehow found a text verification code and it worked but can’t find it now 😤
