The videos in the Photos app don’t play untill I restart the phone, same goes for Snapchat videos that are sent via Snapchat messenger.
The phone and the apps are all updated to the latest versions and nothing seems to fix this issue once and for all.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it? Or is it a bug that needs to be fixed by Apple developers?

I have the same issue! iOS 17.0.3. If I record a video on my phone it won’t play back until I restart the phone. This only started once I updated to iOS 17. When I view the video it looks like a photo but there is a pause button but the video isn’t playing. If I press pause the control turns into the play button. If I press play nothing happens.
