I am getting ready to send it in for trade. I thought I had followed each step correctly. However, I don't think I removed my cards from Apple Wallet. What should I do?

There is no separate step for removing cards from the Wallet.
I you followed the steps in that support article for erasing your device your Wallet would have been erased.
