My bank sent me a new card since the previous one was about to expire and I can’t add the new card to my wallet even if the card is active and I already did online transactions with different methods I keep getting a message saying invalid card

I just got a new phone and my debit card stopped working with Apple Pay. The card has not changed. I deleted it and tried to reenter it in Wallet and it keeps getting rejected as invalid. The only difference is my phone, therefore this seems like an Apple problem. I did call the bank and they could not see an issue, and confirmed the card is valid and active. So excited to figure out the resolution to the mystery...

There’s nothing to fix. In the vast majority of cases the issues is on the banks end and is related to their anti fraud algorithm used to evaluate and approve the card being added to Apple Wallet.
What’s your proof that it’s an Apple issue?
What country are you in? Have you talked to the bank that issued the card? If so, what did they say?
