I have tried several times to a reply my question but keep getting the message that my post cannot be saved and to try again later. What’s going on?

When that happens to me, I copy my intended reply to a text document (as backup independent of the browser), then reload the browser page. Then check if you are still signed in, by looking at your profile image in the upper right corner. If you got signed out, then that was the issue, and solve it by signing in again. If you are still signed in, then see if the web page remembers your not-yet-send reply, and confirm that you would like to resume the message from restoring this content. If the web page doesn’t offer to resume your reply, or still refuses to save the reply, then force-quit and a relaunch the browser, sign in again, reload the thread from History, then use the copied text from the first step.

Good luck!

To add to the information from Urquhart1244, this will also happen if the hosts have removed or modified the post you were replying to while typing your response, or have relocated the topic to another forum.

But sometimes, as Urquhart1244 noted, there's no seemingly logical reason why. I which case, I do exactly as already mentioned. I copy my post, cancel, refresh the page, and then reply again.

The following is what I’m trying to post after getting irrelevant responses to my original question because of rewritten title.

I’m working in Words on my iPad and want to access images that I placed earlier on my iMac desktop. What I finally ended up doing was dragging all the images on desktop to a blank page in the Words document I’m creating so that they are there when I’m working on iPad.
