I Tunes password

Isn't the iTunes password the one to use for logging in to this Community? I entered it and it didn't work. Eventually I got locked out. First, a dialog box appeared with text I can't remember asking if I want to log in under something beginning with "i...." and my yahoo email address. The password field was glitchy; I couldn't type in it. Finally, I cancelled the dialog box and a white log-in page appeared into which I entered my email address and password. Then I got locked out. During this process I had the Nord VPN connected. At some point, I disconnected it thinking it was part of the problem.

After some rigamarole involving my iPad, I got my account unlocked. I don't want to have to go through this everytime I try to log in to the Community.

Users should sign in with their Apple ID account, which is usually the same as for iTunes, and what was used to register your Apple devices. The password is usually (and advised to be) different from your device login code.

If you have Face ID or Touch ID on your device, then you can use that to sign in with your Apple ID, without having to type in your password.
