I keep getting logged out everytime I visit to comment or ask a question in the apple discussions site, It's way too irritating to keep signing in again and again just to comment or ask a question ON the same devices, everytime I re-visit the site I'm already logged out.
Site login will expire after quitting the browser app, as well.
Logging in should be relatively fast with Touch ID or Face ID, no big issue.
I get the verification code request about once per month per device (per browser).
Your Apple ID is way more important to keep secure than just any old web forum with cookie log-in.
Also, the forum site will log you out if you try to log in somewhere else, like https://appleid.apple.com , https://icloud.com
The site automatically logs you out after a time. It's a security feature.
