Apple Pay failed but charged my credit card

Anyone else have issues with Apple Pay declining transaction and then still charging the card? It did it not too long ago with my debit card and still charged me, and the transaction made it through the pending step and went through. I just tried to place an order for Tractor Supply and it declined twice… checked my credit card statement and there it was- twice. Very frustrating. How do I even dispute this?

That’s your bank having issue. Apple Pay just transmits data regarding the transaction in a very safe, secure and private way. In other words your iPhone just displayed the messages your bank sent about the transaction attempts. Only the issuing bank can approve or decline a transaction. Apple Pay plays no part in approving or declining transactions.

You’ll need to dispute the charges with the bank that issued the payment method that was charged by the merchant.
