Where is the Hearing Aid feature on an iPhone running iOS 18?

updated to iOS 18 and purchased the iPodPro 2 earbuds specifically to use as hearing aids now that the FDA has approved the hearing test. However, I have not been able to locate the hear/audio test in Accessibility Settings or Airpods settings. Any hints?

It hasn’t been released yet.

A future update to iOS and firmware of AirPods will enable it.

I am located in the US, it is October 29, I have a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max and a brand new set of AirPod Pro 2’s. My phone is now updated to 18.1 with Apple Intelligence, and I still cannot find the hearing test anywhere in my settings applications. I deliberately waited to purchase the AirPods until after system 18.1 was released, as I was buying them exclusively for the hearing aid functionality. Has anybody else had this problem?

after many online conversations that finally realised that the feature is NOT available in the UK now and is for future release

now the problem is with customer service considering if they will compensate for misadvise
