Finding very heavy battery drain with this update. From 9am to 10am lost 10% battery. Usually at 7pm I would have 65-70% battery left. Sitting at 50% right now.

After an OS update, it's common to experience an increased battery drain as certain tasks related to the update continue in the background including indexing, you should only experience this increased battery drain for a few days before it goes back to normal.
If after a couple days, your battery is not back to normal, I would recommend unpair and repairing your Apple Watch with your iPhone ⇢ Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support
I too am recently experiencing rapid battery drain, over the past week. I have pretty much disabled every option on my watch and still the battery is rapidly dying. It is very frustrating.

After testing for more days, I can confirm that the solution suggested by @Watchmybattery does work. Disabling Live Activities in Smart Stack settings section restores battery usage to almost as it used to be before watchOS 11.
My AW7 (at 88% capacity) can once again exist for almost 24 hours without prompting me to enable Low Power Mode or dying altogether.
Mine is a year old. I would not upgrade for at least 3 years. I doubt others would either Apple got way over its skis. They didn’t do enough product testing they had several other upgrades in the works too and didn’t do enough testing on any. Some people need to be fired. They were sloppy. The same is true for the phone and tablet, battery drain. What I don’t like is they ignore the complaints and don’t even apologize for serious inconvenience. Whether I continue with their products is up for grabs.
