Finding very heavy battery drain with this update. From 9am to 10am lost 10% battery. Usually at 7pm I would have 65-70% battery left. Sitting at 50% right now.

Apple Watch Series 7, watchOS 11
After an OS update, it's common to experience an increased battery drain as certain tasks related to the update continue in the background including indexing, you should only experience this increased battery drain for a few days before it goes back to normal.
If after a couple days, your battery is not back to normal, I would recommend unpair and repairing your Apple Watch with your iPhone ⇢ Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support
If I only could update my watch, as the battery was draining so fast that the Apple Store (not) geniuses were not able to charge it enough in order to update the OS
The recent update Watch OS 11.0.1 promised to fix this, but it has NOT. I have a Watch 9, almost new. This is not normal.
Same issue after 11.0.1 of my ultra 2. Worst is overnight while sleeping and it goes from over 70% to 20%. I’m having to reeharfe almost daily where it would last 4 days usually with heavy use.
Is there any update from Apple about this problem????
This method is Apple's policy that old devices lose their battery efficiency with updates. To bring customers to new products.

My series 8 is dying from a full charge in 5 hours after the update and it’s unacceptable
By the time I got to work at 8am I was sitting at 78% it’s now 10:36am and I’m at 5%
this didn’t start until the new update came out 🙄

I’ve noticed this on my s7 it won’t last a day I used to still have 30-50 battery left b4 update.
but my 7 year old s3 still lasts a full day not updated
Doing sport is completely draining the watch's battery. What is going on? What can be done to reduce the drainage?
Installed watchOS 11.1 on my series 8 watch. Since installing the update, my watch battery dies after 4 hours. Battery health is 89% so it isn't the battery.
ok,so i should upgrade from perfetcly working ultra 1st gen(before update) because of ios 11???? no way
Bought new Apple Watch few months ago battery was amazing lasted day and half now last 5 hrs or less pretty upset about it
I have a BRAND NEW series 10 and after updating the iOS it is dead in 3 hours.
