Why is my Apple Watch OS 11 not providing haptic alerts

3rd party notifications like WhatsApp do not notify me on my Ultra 2 since the latest watchOS 11 update as well. Let's hope that Apple will address this in an upcoming update.

I have iPhone pro max 11 using OS18 and recently upgraded my watch from series 8 to ultra 2. I have the ultra 2 watch os11 . When I receive notifications such as WhatsApp/ emails . My watch does not vibrate it only vibrates on calls, sms, health alerts. Glad I’m not the only one having this issue because I was going crazy 😂. I will report this to Apple

Everybody having this issue should use the Feedback link, as this is the only way to let Apple know directly about wishes for future updates or bugs in watchOS.

Did you already force restart your watch after the upgrade by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

If this does not work, unpairing and connecting your watch again to your iPhone would be the next step:

I tried all that. Had the Apple Watch 6 and wasn’t updated, it was working fine.

Upgraded my watch to 10, and updated it and now it’s not working. Had Apple Service try to help me over the phone, that didn’t work. Went to the Apple store and service there couldn’t figure it out. they exchanged the watch and it’s still not working. Must be a bug.

I'm still having this issue. I have unpaired & paired it again no fix. Is Apple listening to us? No notifications from third-party apps vibrating or haptic alerts working. It is only working for cloud mail, phone calls, SMS & Health alerts.

Someone with high level of points please share our concern as you may be heard. I have iPhone 11, OS 18.1 and ultra watch 2 i believe 11.1.

Guys, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 18.1 & Ultra Watch 2 on OS11. I configured the following settings and it worked! At last, my watch vibrates on the third-party notifications while my phone is on silent!

Follow this by going to your Phone and then

Settings -> Sounds and Haptics
-> RingTone -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)
-> Text Tone -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)
-> New Voicemail -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)
-> Calendar Alerts -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)
-> Reminder Alerts -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)
-> Default Alerts -> Haptics -> Synchronized (Default)

That might be, I'm checking the mail manually on either my iPhone or Apple Watch, just to be sure that no background services are draining my battery.

Hi. I’m having similar problems with my Apple Watch Ultra as well. I get some haptics when turn the crown and then none. I will this to Apple as well.

I am surprised Apple isn’t aware of this issue and not many people have complained.

I am having same issue no vibration upon third party apps notifications not even instagram
