After a long time, trying everything, I solved my problem here. Just went to system preferences, privacy, local network, and this item was unmarked "rastertoescpII". I just allowed it, and the print is working fine now.

You could try uninstalling & reinstalling the Epson drivers/utilities. But be cautious, check the Epson Support website for your printer/scanner model(s) to see if the current drivers/utilities are qualified for Sequoia.
My software updater is fine, and there was no update that needed to be applied.
My computer says the printer is there, but it also says it doesn't get a response.
My printer says it can see my computer.
I have exactly the same problem with Apple Watch not unlocking my mac after the 15.0 upgrade.
Doing those recommended steps didn't work either.
But both these problems--watch and printer--happen with EVERY MacOS upgrade. I complain, as do others, and find no one else can figure out the problem. But then (weeks later) things start to mysterious work again (and others have said the same).
Apple, being the young startup that it is, will eventually smooth out these kinks.
For the MacOS 15 drivers go to > https://epson.com/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/ET-Series/Epson-ET-8500/s/SPT_C11CJ20201?review-filter=macOS+15.x

What model is your Epson printer..?
If the Epson printer supports AirPrint, then you do not need any Epson software or drivers.
Do other Mac's, PC's, iPhones, etc.. find the printer on your local network..?
If so, check your Firewall settings and then see > Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support
If not, then the problem is most likely between the router and printer.
My system settings -> privacy & security -> local network shows
marked, but still the Epson Updater crashes. Any further idea?
same here. tried everything
I am unable to bring this window up on the AirPrint drive 4.0, how do I get the driver that will allow this to be able to adjust colors? Before I was allowed to choose color profiles, under printer settings now under AirPrint 4.0 it is not coming up.
I’ve also tried using driver 13x and then it gives the error message communication error.
I am losing work as I rely on being able to adjust colors, brightness, saturation, contrast and then each of the colors cyan, magenta, yellow.
If am unable to get this window up I need instructions on how to downgrade from Sequoia.
Outstanding this was the answer for the ET-2400 Epson.....actually recall this request when updated driver...didn't like it so denied..... unmarked it and now printing....Thanks CRH
By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself.
are you running any of those?
I have a questions? The AirPrint does not let you refine the colors as the Printer driver normally would let you. But when you go into the Epson website under the Mac OS 15, there are no Printer Driver only the airprint and scan print. How do we get the Printer Driver Utilities Combo like all the prior Mac OS have 14x and below? The work I do requires me to adjust the colors in the advanced color tab that is on everything below Mac OS 15x, but the package is not there on the Epson Website. How do we get that added? Do we have to downgrade from Sequioa, if so how do we do this? I cannot use me printer. When I try to use anything below Mac OS 15x it I get communication errors or it will just not print.
What is the exact model # of your printer?
Epson driver support is specific to each printer model and it usually takes some time after a new macOS release for Epson to update drivers. Sequoia has only been out for about 3 weeks.
Are you using AltTab utility? If so, this is the one creating the problem. Quit AltTab and try again! ;-)
Epson ET 8500, I have others too.
Epson ET 15000
Epson ET 2480
