iOS 18 - Siri no longer allows "Restart this iphone" command

After iOS 18 update on iPhone SE (3rd ed), I had Siri set for Hold Home button for Siri. And if I held home button, Siri comes up, and I would say, "Restart this iphone" and Siri would ask "Just to confirm, Restart this iphone?" and I would confirm. And it would restart my iPhone.

Now on iOS 18, it give error message, "Sorry, I can't help you with that here". Turned Siri off, then on. Actually restarted incase via control center. Tried again, same message. Can ask Siri other questions with answers like play music, or weather or the time.

FWIW, that command works fine in my iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 18. So the function has not been removed, at any rate. One think I can think of to try is to set Siri to just respond to "Hey Siri" instead of holding the Home button and see if that make a difference.

Used to work. I will try another location as something may have changed on home network.

Ok, the latest iPhone update to 18.0.1 fixes the issue. Now, Siri will respond to restart as prior to the iOS 18 upgrade. I knew it wasn't me...

If it's a bug in iOS 18, it seems like it wouldn't work for varjak paw. But it does. It works for me, too.

I just updated my iPhone 15 to IOS 18.1 and now Siri won’t restart my iPhone and my videos won’t playback at all and I used to be able to record hour long skate videos and playback with zero problems anyone shed light on this issue? Is there a way to downgrade IOS back to 17.7?

Update: still same problem when I tried on cellular network, work wireless network. Not isolated to home LAN/WAN. Has to be bug in iOS 18 since it worked prior, with same settings, etc.

Siri does not react to restarting the phone (18.1.1 now )command that I used to be it's on 17.0
