Photo “Albums” disappeared after updating to IOS 18

Where are the Albums gone from photos …treasured family pictures of people no longer here ?

Where did you find them ? I have the update and no old albums

I can find an album by Search. When I do it tells me there is only 1 photo in it. When I go to it, there are loads of photos. When I go back to searching tells me “only 1 photo”.

I’ve discovered 590 random photos in a folder called “WhatsApp”. A folder I never had. With photos not from WhatsApp feed either. Rubbish upgrade.

After the last update All my albums became zero pictures and this is very annoying because I cannot rearrange them again. How could I retrieve them back with the old albums?

I need to retrieve my albums with the old arrangement as soon as possible. How could I do that?

I have the Album but it has 0 photos in it

I want to go back to the old app. This is the worst upgrade. I can’t seem to locate my albums! How do I go back?

I wish we could go back. We can’t.

Nobody wants to customize anything. We already did that when we organized our pictures long ago.

This is ridiculous.

Apple messed up big time with this update. I have all the albums but all the photos are GONE from them. So annoying. Apple really needs to give people the option to downgrade back to iOS 17

APPLE needs to bring back the previous Photos app!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I did this, but most of the photos are missing from some of the albums. Several hundred in one album, but now there are only 17. This is beyond upsetting!
