Cannot locate my Albums in Photos. HELP!
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 18
Yeah, it changed a bunch. There is no longer separate Library, Albums, etc, windows to select at the bottom. Now when you open Photos in iOS 18, you get everything all a once. (good movie) The top half is the Library, and the bottom has Recent Days and then Albums, People&Pets, Pinned collections like Map and Recent, Memories, and so on. You just Scroll up and down to find Albums.
You can tap on Albums to get a screen that has only albums in their folders. I just discovered that!

Drop box did something similar to me years ago - lost SOOO much. - and I was told (by Apple) that my photos would always be secure in the cloud - just a big fat lie!

Any way to sort what remaining albums you can find alphabetically, or any other configuration? Any way to physically MOVE an album or photo to another position?

Same. I have albums missing, nowhere to be found and no, the pictures aren’t all back in my library. I’m devastated. Pregnancy, baby, wedding albums all gone

I used to type the photo Album name in search and that took me directly to the Album I wanted. But Now I have Scroll & scroll ? BS
Please please give us the option to go back to how photos were before this disaster known as last update took place. I’m ready to dump Apple after being a loyal customer for years!
Lost albums and pictures: Everything older than August 2024 is gone. I just looked at the phone memory through the pc and sync cable. I see nothing older.
Under “Albums” it says “no albums available” and there is a “create” button. No right arrow. The albums are gone. How do I go back to iOS 17?
Yes the albums are there but mine most of them are empty . My pictures from the albums disappeared 😡😡😡I have been using iPhone for years . My next phone will be android . I am so p… off

Me , too. But if I buy another phone it will not be an Apple because you don’t get 2 bites of it, my programming friends at Apple!
