iphone SE model: MHGH3LL/A, upgraded to 18.0. I do not want to set up apple pay, how do I make the prompt to set it up go away?

Thanks for the suggestions. I had already done as you suggested but prompt is still there urging me to set up Apple Pay. I don’t want to!
Make sure Apple Cash is turned off and you can also disable Notifications from the Wallet app. Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Cash — disable
