I received a text saying my Apple ID was recently used at Apple Store for a transaction paid by Apple Pay Pre-Authorization. It is asknig me to call 1-828-***-**** for customer support and to maintain security.
Is this accurate? Or fake?

That message is most likely fake. Delete and block the message.
