Cannot stop switch control recipe
I have a full screen tap switch with a recipe that taps the middle of the screen.
The only accessibility shortcut I have set up is switch control so when I triple click, switch control activates. If I press the screen multiple times, I cannot stop the switch. Even when I triple click the power button, nothing happens. I have to wait for the switch to complete running before it turns off. It completely locks my device for however long it takes to complete. Sometimes a couple minutes. Sometimes more. There is no fail safe or other way to turn it off besides full reset or waiting.
From online search, this seems to have been an issue for over 4 years now. How has this not been fixed? It’s kind of pathetic. For the love of god give this bug to an intern to fix or something. It’s ridiculous that a major accessibility feature like this has such a phone breaking bug. Or maybe just don’t entirely lock out the screen when switches are active? Add a stop button in the top corner of the screen? So many easy fixes that would take an experienced dev less than an hour to fix.
