I just updated my iPhone to iOS 18.1 and cannot see the hearing aid/hearing test features. My AirPods are up to date 7B19
I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.
I've just noticed that the feature is not available in the UK. It's just about the only country where it's not available

Apple SupportUK is as much use as a chocolate fireguard on this subject. I enquire and had to jump through several hoops e.g "Serial number please". Nothing wrong with the AirPods Pro 2 just asking why the UK is not included.
Did a bit of research and this is what came up from the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.
Apple simply hasn't registered them in the UK! This is the MHRA response.

That may well have been true but Health Minister Wes Streeting has just torn up all the regulation that prevented the hearing assistance feature from being released.
So it should be with us soon…
I believe this is what Streeting is doing away with.
the hearing aid function appeared in the settings and started working on the 18th feb for me.
I do still think The hearing assist function is absolutely amazing though.
Mine are working well. The ambient noise reduction is excellent as well. At last we are there with this function in the UK 😊🥳

Do you know if the Headphone Accommodation will work with the older AirPods Pro?
I have 15 Pro and 18.3. I’ve restarted the iPhone and re-paired the AirPod Pro 2’s - nothing in settings anywhere for Hearing Assistance - though I can now use an audiogram to customise the frequency response of the AirPods.
Forbes is reporting that the Apple hearing aid feature goes live on Feb.24 in the UK.
