When I asked siri to play 90s music or 90s hits. It says "now playing classic french rap." Which it sure sounds like classic french rap. I have had my son and wife both ask to play 90s music and it responds back with playing french music. I have tried this on two different HomePods and on my iPhone. I noticed this sometime about a month or so ago. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I had the same issue and started a chat with Apple support. The rep ended up trying the same thing and getting the same result - classic French rap. They created a case number so hopefully someone somewhere will fix this glitch for us eventually.
This worked recently in the past. I’ve always played 90’s hits on my HomePod Mini, so it’s 100% something that was changed recently from Apple. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if it’s an issue with “Apple Intelligence” integration. I swear, all these big corporations integrating AI into everything in a desperate attempt to justify replacing payroll employees with an algorithm is ruining so many things it’s no longer funny.
Us too, multiple devices and 2 different people. And again like some of the others, this is one of the things that has only started happening recently.
the other things like Siri doesn’t respond verbally anymore, just blue light and if we say play music or play music we might like, it now says problems processing.
Siri used to be much better to use 😣
I have this same problem. She just keeps playing a "classic French rap" station. If I ask for other stuff like folk or rock it works. Have you figured out what's going on?
