Is it normal to experience pain from wearing a Apple Watch?

I have an Apple Watch and have had it for several years and wear it daily (not while sleeping) with no issues. However; a couple of weeks ago I started feeling what feels like a bruise on my wrist. I took the watch off for a couple of days and it resolved. I put the watch back on and boom, the pain returned. So, I moved the watch to my other wrist and after 2-days of wearing it on that had (which had no issues before I moved the watch to that hand) I started feeling the exact same pain in the exact same place. The pain is still there in the other hand though, even a few days later. It is on the back side of the hand, right where the watch itself sits - not the band. I do not wear it too tight either. Has anyone gotten anywhere with this issue? I'm a little worried!

Watch wearers, not just Apple Watch wearers, have reported developing pain in their wrists/hands ever since wrist watches were developed. This topic is nothing unique and I’m a member of several analog watch forums. Some watch wearers develop repetitive motion injuries from wearing watch or other injuries related to the weight, frequent rotation of hand and wrist, pressure of wearing bands too tight or incorrectly on their wrists.

If you’ve not already done so, please contact your primary care physician. He may refer you to an orthopedist to confirm their diagnosis and so a treatment plan can be developed.

As noted above, you should also contact Apple Support at your earliest convenience. Best of luck and I hope all goes well.
