Since watchOS 11 elevation units are not mirroring my iPhone anymore.

I'm in the uk. Up until the release of watchOS 11, the units used for the elevation complication would show in metres. This is how it was set up in my iPhone, and it was mirrored correctly on my watch.

Since watchOS 11 was launched my iPhone shows the elevation in metres, but my watch shows me elevation in feet. Even though I have it set up to mirror my phone. There is one face that shows elevation in metres and the the modular ultra face when I have the bezel set to show elevation

Why has this happened, and how can I fix it to show the elevation complication in metres like before. It just seems like an unnecessary change, like the removal of the "now playing" complication.
