The file paths for my personal files on my laptop are mapped and shared with the Macintosh network server
Please suggest ways to remove my IP address from the Apple server so it is not accessible by others. I am not certain how my computer was mapped but each file path is connected to a shared network and file paths to my private folders and even my IP are continually pinged and accessed by external parties. As a result, I am unable to save files to my hard drive or use the internet without entering safe boot mode. I have wiped this device and reinstalled os multiple times, changed emails, iCloud accounts, purchased a private VPN and encrypted my files. Still, private and personal documents are being accessed on my computer while I am not connected to any shared network or Bluetooth devices. Please assist me in safeguarding and setting up my hard drive so it is not accessible by others. In addition, please suggest ways to create safe backups without using Time machine. After I encrypted my laptop Time machine backups became unusable. Thank you in advance for your help.
