I´m unable to shut down, to Force quit, or to stop install in progress from Activity monitor since it is installing an adobe acrobat update. My iMac has been unable to perform any Adobe app since yesterday because of this update. How can I stop this?

Press and hold the power button on the back corner of the iMac until the computer shuts down.
Then you can restart it again normally, and with luck the installation will complete and you can return to using the computer.
Thank you, It worked even the acrobat was uninstalled once the iMac restarted
