I am replacing a 2019 intel iMac with an M4 Mac-mini. The Mac-mini is on order and I have bought a 32"; Samsung M80 monitor. Before buying, when I checked with the Samsung online chat bot, I was assured that the monitor and Mac mini were compatible. I have since read that they may not work together. Should I return the monitor and get something else? Anybody had success with this pairing? Any tips or steers gratefully received.

There's no real reason to think they won't work together.
Where did you read this?
There's nothing custom or off standard about the M4 Mac mini that would cause the monitor not to work.
In fact most reports I can find say it works fine.
