Why is my Apple Watch Sunrise/Sunset complication not updating?

For many years and three Apple watches I have used the Modular face with the Sunrise/sunset complication in the center to give me a time until sunrise while I am doing astrophotography. Lately, since WatchOS 11, this complication has stopped updating regularly. Take this screenshot, for example. It claims sunrise is 9 hours and 27 minutes away, but that’s 11 minutes off. That’s not of practical concern with these numbers but it has thrown me off more than once when I’m out before sunrise and I think I have more time than I do before it starts getting light.

has anyone experienced this or similar issues and/or found a solution? I’ve tried restarting the watch and recreating the face to no avail.

No. The times for each city in the weather app on the phone stay up to date.

This complication is part of World Clock, however, not Weather.

And it’s not that it’s running 11 minutes behind, it’s that it doesn’t update when the minute ticks over. It does update if I switch to another face and back. This appears to be a bug in WatchOS 11. Resetting my watch and setting it up as new didn’t fix it.
