How to hide the Stopwatch from Lock Screen on my iPhone 14 Plus?

After updating to the new iOS 18.1.1, the active / running stopwatch is now showing up on my lock screen. I like to have a running stopwatch to track my medications throughout the day, but don’t want it displayed on my Lock Screen. I just want it running in the background & to only see it when opening up the Clock app. How can I turn this new setting off?

Yes this is annoying. My iPhone just did this major appearance update and my stopwatch now shows on my Lock Screen. I also use my stopwatch to track my prescription medication times to keep track.

what I did is when my Lock Screen shows my stopwatch timer, Press and hold on the stopwatch.

after a second or two, you should be able to Slide just the stopwatch timer to the left…

it will reveal as an option to Clear.

do all I did was … press and hold the stopwatch timer on my Lock Screen (a couple seconds), then swipe it to the left and make it disappear.

I unlocked my phone, verified my stopwatch is still counting, then lock my phone and … it’s finally gone, but still working as it did before the update.

I have an iPhone 12 ProMax so it shouldn’t be any different for newer iPhones
