Macbook M4pro gets hot extremely easily. Idle temp is 51C?

I've noticed that my MacBook gets hot easily, even when I just have around 10 Chrome tabs open. To monitor this, I downloaded a usage app from the App Store, and it shows that my idle temperature is around 49–51°C. It spikes up to 70°C very easily. Is this normal?

I've also noticed that CPU usage increases significantly due to something called "kernel_task" in Activity Monitor. From what I’ve read, this is related to heat management. However, the laptop feels very hot to the touch, even though I'm not running any heavy tasks. I’ve ensured all my software is up to date.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts or experiences.
