In most cases all transactions in the App Store are final. Some apps may have a Free Trial to allow you to try them first, but if the app does not offer that, there is no option to try the app yourself and request a refund if you do not like it. Purchases require double clicking the side button with the amount showing on the screen followed by verification with FaceID or Passcode, so it is not something that can be done by accident. At times, Apple may offer a compassionate refund, but it should never be expected. You can try:
